31 Days to Kickoff: The “Red Alert” Fitness List for Every Major 2026 Squad

The countdown to North America 2026 has entered its most volatile phase. As the June 2nd deadline for final 26-man rosters looms, coaches from the record 48 competing nations are frantically refreshing medical reports. While some stars are making heroic late recoveries, others have officially seen their World Cup dreams end before the first whistle.

The “Red Alert” Casualty List

Several world-class talents have already been ruled out, forcing managers to look deep into their expanded pools.

  • Xavi Simons (Netherlands): A late-season ACL injury has robbed the Dutch of their creative engine.
  • Eder Militao (Brazil): A severe hamstring injury requiring surgery has forced him out of the tournament.
