Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for these positions, candidates must meet the following academic and physical requirements:
1. Academic Qualification
- For SI & ASI: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (2nd Division) from a recognized university.
2. Physical Standards (Strictly Enforced)
- Height (Male): Minimum 5′ 7″ (5 feet 7 inches).
- Height (Female): Minimum 5′ 1″ (5 feet 1 inch).
- Chest (Male): 33″ x 34.5″.
- Running Test:
- Male: 1.6 km (1 mile) in 7 minutes.
- Female: 1 km in 9 minutes.
3. Age Limit
- General Candidates: 18 to 25 years.
- Note: Age relaxations may apply as per government rules for specific categories or existing government employees.

Selection Process
The recruitment will consist of four major stages:
- Physical Measurement & Endurance Test: Height, chest, and running.
- Written Examination: Covering English, General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, and Islamic Studies (Ethics for Non-Muslims).
- Psychological Assessment: To evaluate the candidate’s mental aptitude for police service.
- Interview: Final viva voce conducted by the KPPSC board.
